December 10, 2024. Valle Verde 5 Clubhouse — On a crisp December evening, as the air was thick with the promise of the holiday season, the Philippine Paint and Coatings Association, Inc. (PPCAI) welcomed 151 attendees from 56 member-companies to its much-anticipated Christmas Masquerade Party. The gathering was more than just a holiday celebration; it was a testament to the enduring spirit of unity, camaraderie, and community that defines the heart of the association.

The event began with a lively registration and pre-event activities, including a photo booth featuring masquerade props, allowing guests to capture the spirit of the evening. As members mingled and enjoyed cocktails, the anticipation grew for the start of the program.

President Reggie Yu of Times Paint, opened the evening with a heartfelt welcome message and a President’s Report that offered a sneak peek into the exciting events planned for 2024. His presentation included a 15-minute video that was met with warm appreciation from the attendees, providing insight into the association’s future initiatives and achievements.

Following the opening remarks, attendees were invited to a prayer and dinner led by Glaiza Salao of Chemical Providers, setting the tone for an evening of camaraderie and celebration.

A key moment in the evening was the DEAF Foundation Report, presented by Pastor Salvador "Buddy" Cuare. PPCAI showed its commitment to social responsibility by donating PHP 25,000 to the foundation. The association also pledged support for the construction of a new Boys Quarters, with Pastor Cuare calling on the members for further assistance.

One of the most eagerly anticipated segments of the evening was the induction of five new member-companies, marking an exciting moment for PPCAI's growth and expansion:

The Best Mask Contest, a highlight of the evening, celebrated creativity and style. Ludy Peñaflor from Omya claimed the first-place prize, while Athine Labindao of SealBond and Jerick Enriquez of Aveochem rounded out the top three.

The event was a resounding success, showcasing the vibrant and growing community of the Philippine Paint and Coatings Association.
