PPCAI President graces 30th PackPrintPlas Philippines 2024 as Industry Leader-Guest

SMX MOA, Philippines – The 30th edition of PackPrintPlas Philippines, the country’s premier international exhibition for packaging, printing, and plastics machinery and technology, opened its doors at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, drawing industry leaders, innovators, and key decision-makers from across the region. Among the distinguished guests was Reggie Yu, President of the Philippine Paint and Coatings Association, Inc. (PPCAI), who was invited as an industry leader-guest, further underscoring the significance of this landmark event.

In a statement, Yu extended his heartfelt congratulations to the event organizers, Global-Link MP Events International, Inc., and Messe Düsseldorf Asia, for their relentless dedication in organizing what has become the leading exhibition of its kind in the region. “It is truly a privilege to witness the evolution of PackPrintPlas Philippines into the leading international platform for packaging, printing, and plastics machinery, technology, and products in the region,” Yu remarked.

Now in its third decade, PackPrintPlas Philippines 2024 brings together over 300 exhibitors and thousands of attendees from the Philippines and neighboring countries. The event serves as a platform for showcasing cutting-edge technologies and groundbreaking innovations, while fostering collaboration between industry leaders and potential buyers. For Yu, this convergence of industries is critical to driving growth and sustainability forward.

“In our fast-paced and ever-evolving industry, PackPrintPlas Philippines serves as a vital opportunity not only to showcase technologies and innovations but also to foster collaboration, explore new partnerships, and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers,” Yu shared. He emphasized that the exhibition allows businesses to make lasting impressions and stand out in a highly competitive market.

Yu further underscored the importance of engagement and collaboration among participants. “I encourage all participants to seize this moment to engage, network, and collaborate. This exhibition is more than a display of products and services; it is a gateway to new possibilities,” he said, pointing out the unique opportunities available for those willing to actively interact with industry leaders and potential buyers.

As the President of the PPCAI, Yu reiterated the association’s support for the event, noting that the industries represented at PackPrintPlas—particularly in packaging, printing, and plastics—share common goals with the paint and coatings sector. These include sustainability, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence. “The Philippine Paint and Coatings Association is honored to be part of this vibrant gathering, where industries converge to drive growth, sustainability, and innovation forward,” Yu noted.

PackPrintPlas Philippines 2024 continues to offer a space for exploring new technologies, products, and services, while facilitating dialogue between industry experts and stakeholders. For leaders like Reggie Yu, the exhibition is not just an opportunity to highlight products but also a venue to explore partnerships and solutions that will define the future of their respective industries.

With attendees and exhibitors from around the world, the 30th PackPrintPlas Philippines is set to be a key event for shaping the future of packaging, printing, and plastics technologies in the region.
